Now you can choose your own Ncell number

What if a number you like becomes your own mobile number? A special number that not only gives you access to telecommunication services but also becomes a reflection of an important day in your life or a sweet memory. To fulfill this wish of the customers, Ncell has launched ‘My Number, My Choice’ scheme.

Now, you can create your own mobile number by choosing the last 6 digits of your choice. Be it your birthday, the day you met your fellow traveler for the first time, your vehicle number or any other important date or number, now you can turn it into your own mobile number forever and stay connected. 

You can also gift such special numbers to your loved ones, making your relationships even stronger. For example, the husband can get a number with the last 6 digits xxx940, while the wife can get the corresponding number xxx941.

The mobile number of this scheme starts from 9705 number range. Customers who want to get a special always on number can create their unique mobile number by choosing the last 6 digits themselves. Customers can go directly to the Ncell app or Ncell website and click on ‘My Number, My Choice’ and check whether the last 6 digits of their desired mobile number are available and make an instant online booking.

The main feature of this scheme is the facility to get a new mobile number by matching the last 6 digits of the currently used mobile number. 

“Mobile numbers have become our identity,” said Umer Mohsin, Chief Commercial Officer of Ncell. “We are very happy to launch this special scheme where you can choose your own mobile number based on the number you will remember for the rest of your life. Customers can choose this number not only for themselves but also for family members and friends to match their number. It is not only a service but also a means of deepening relationships.”

Under this scheme, more than 9 lakh mobile numbers are available to choose from the 9705 range. Ncell will distribute available numbers on a first come, first serve basis. This SIM will be provided as a bundled service in plans ranging from Rs 599 to Rs 1,499 under the ‘Always On’ plan currently being operated by Ncell.

Under the plans of Always On Yojana, customers get voice, data, free social media data and SMS services. ‘Always On’ plans can be activated by dialing *123#.

The booked SIM customer can go to any of Ncell’s 32 Ncell centers spread across the country. In the case of Kathmandu Valley, this SIM can also be taken by home delivery through the solution cargo service. If the booked number is not picked up within 7 days, that number will be automatically removed from the booking list and other customers can also take that number. Under Ncell’s ‘My Number, My Choice’ scheme, customers will not only choose a number, they will always carry a special memory of their SIM ie number with them.
